Question

pdf in callees folder?

Hi -

Our team is creating a responsive project that has buttons users will click to access PDFs. I found this article (Learning Developments: 5 Simple Steps to Attach a File in Adobe Captivate) that explains how to insert a PDF. I followed the article's instructions and it worked great. However, I'm a bit confused because Captivate gave the below alert

The alert says to put the pdfs in the "callees" folder. I tried this as well, and the buttons work fine.

my question: does it matter if I put the pdfs in the Callees folder or in the top level of the output?

Put them where Captivate tells you to, otherwise the links will not work.

How do I do that?  The callees folder seems to be blocked, probably because it is zipped?  If I have to do it before I zip it, how do I publish without zipping, do that, then zip for the LMS?  thanks!

A SCORM file is indeed zipped. You will have to unzip it, then put the pdf in the Callees folder, and zip again. LMS's only accept a zipped folder.
