Hi, Dear everyone,

Could you help on this? Thanks.

I previewed some of my slides in Preview Captivate Environment. It works fine. However, Picture and text cannot be shown in HTML5 preview in a Chrome browser but can hear sound.

The rest of slides work fine in the browser (see all the things and hear the sound), though.

In that case (so it is a non-responsive project) you'll have to check the Timeline for a possible pausing point? If you are talking about slide audio, it will continue to play even if there is a pausing point from an interactive button. Secondly check if the objects are set to be visible in output.

'If they indeed 'worked before', what has changed now, either in the borwsers or in Captivate?

thanks,

I have another question,

I want to retrieve the user name and user ID from TalentLMS.

There are two variables in Cpativate pages:

cpQuizInfoStudentID

cpQuizInfoStudentName.

I can retrieve the student name from the page. But not the Student ID. Could you help on this also?

I just used Text Caption:

$$cpQuizInfoStudentName$$

$$cpQuizInfoStudentID$$

This just shows the student name. But not user ID except when the administrator logged in and the page returned ID: "0".

thanks

I tried again, now for other users, the student ID shown is '0'

Those user variables were meant to be used with Internal server reporting

where both were required for the learner's account. Whether it works for a

LMS depends on the LMS, as you found.

Please give some more details!

If you are working on a non-responsive project, you have to know that all Preview methods except one do use a temporary Flash output. Lot of browsers however do disable Flash player by default. The exception is 'Preview HTML5 in Browser' (F11). Can you try that Preview?

Thanks,Lilybiri

I tried 'Preview HTML5 in Browser' (F11). However, the a few slides still not shown in the Chrome browser or Firefox. But I can hear the audio. Other slides work fine though.

All of these slides worked before.

Thanks
