Play/Pause & rewind buttons on playbar

I am working on a project using Captivate 8 and will be publishing to html5 (but not using the responsive slides). This project utilizes animations created with Edge (.oam files) on many of the slides. When the course is published and viewed in Chrome or Firefox, a couple of issues are encountered:

1. When a slide is paused via the play/pause button on the playbar, the audio stops but the animation continues to play.
2. On the very first slide there will be an animation used for the welcome/introduction. When the rewind button is pressed, the animation doesn't go back to the beginning but continues to play.

Has anyone encountered one or both of these issues and can provide some input?
