Playback controls on timeline are gone

Can't find a way to turn them back on.  The only way to play a slide is to click Preview, This Slide.

    Got it .figured out.  Embarrassed to share!   I needed to Maximize the window.  D'oh.

    Just a tip: if the Timeline is selected, space bar will trigger to play the slide.
