playbar appearance

When I upload a video and I want to change the look of the playbar, it ignores me. It only works if I choose none, but if I choose any other aspect, the same generic bar is shown when publishing.

Please offer some more details.

  • 'upload' a video: what do you mean? Are you talking about inserting a video on a Captivate slide? Or do you mean that you publish a Captivate project to video (MP4) and upload it to a platform like YouTube?
  • If it is about inserting a video on a CP-slide: which type of insertion do you use, event video or slide video? The event video has its dedicated control panel, is not controlled by Captivate. Slide video will use a CP-playbar.
  • Are you talking about a non-responsive or a responsive project?
  • Which exact version are you using, please give the full version number as you can find under Help, About Captivate.
