Playbar disappears

Playbar disappears when BACK button is selected in a Knowledge check. How do I remedy this. I am using Captivate 2019.

"Different" meaning Ive never seen this. And to be clear, Is it best to remove the command playbar on the command show play bar action on the KC slide and just replace with the "Hide PlayBar' in quiz properties? 

 

Could that be the issue? 


I always use the Quiz Preferences, rather than command On Enter to hide the playbar. You didn't specify or I may have missed it that you used that workflow. It could indeed be the cause, when going back, you shiould have Show Playbar on the previous slide On Enter. Whereas if you use the Quiz Preferences to hide the playbar on quiz slides, you don't have to bother about that.

CP2019 has two versions: 11 and 11.5

 

Can you check the Quiz Preferences, because they also apply to KC slides. Is 'Hide Playbar' activated? Do you allow Backwards movement?

    I have Captivate 11.5.

    The "Hide Playbar" is not activated and allowing backwards movement is selected.

    Will try to double-check on 11.5.1.499. Normally I never show the playbar on quiz nor KC slides, since they are confusing with the buttons which take care of the navigation on those slides.
