Please help! Captivate 9 properties window won't stay open! WTF???

I've restarted app, restarted my computer, reinstalled Captivate, tried on new documents and still the Properties window won't stay open!

I click on Properties tab - it opens and closes immediately! Sometimes open and closes multiple time. How can I use this software with a bug like this?

Anyone else had this issue? I have a deadline for tomorrow. I need this working asap.

Any help would be much appreciated

You could switch to Expert UI, much more control over panels: check the option 'Enable custom workspaces....' in Preferences, General Settings.

Preferences can be reset using the CleanPreferences file in utils folder under the CP installation folder.

RodWard I didn't try your suggestion as tried Lilybiri's first which seems to have settled down the IDE. I'm sure it would of helped too.

Have you tried resetting your preferences folder?

Have you tried manually deleting all but the most recent folders found in your Project Cache folder?
