Please how can I represent a clock in Captivate 8? I'm new to Captivate and trying to depict e.g 2pm as well as a period of time e.g 2pm to 6pm.

I want the clock hands to be on 2pm and then I want to show a period of time e.g 2pm-6pm.....all on the same clock. Any ideas please?

    Thanks everyone.

I ended up just using a smart shape to create a round clock and put numbers using text boxs. I then used transparent smart shapes to come in at different times using the timeline. Sorted!

Thanks guys. I was thinking, can't I use a jpg of a clock and cover it with a SmartShape for the period of time I need highlighted and use the timeline to stagger how the shapes/images appear? I don't know how to do this though! Any suggestions please?

As Lieve suggested, you'd need to be on a later version of Captivate where you have the option to use the Delay action and the While Loop.  Without that available, you'd need to resort to JavaScript.  But it doesn't sound like you have that in your tool kit either, correct?

I have succeeded creating an analgoue clock, but nof for such a long period, using the Rotate to Effect, the While loop and the Delay Next actions command. But since you are still on 8, you do not have the two last options at all. Delay only appeared in CP9, and the While loop in CP2017.  Moreover, since the rotation point cannot be moved in Captivate, you'll have to use a workaround like I explained in:

Reference/Registration point in Captivate? - Captivate blog

The Rotator widget by Infoemantics (SWF only) was much more powerful than what I just explained.

This sort of thing requires custom programming.  We did create a clock interaction once a while ago for SWF output to demo the Infosemantics Rotator Component widget.

But that widget is NOT compatible with HTML5.
