Possible to merge the slides?

Hi, I want to dub for the slides using the function 'text to speech'. I find I can only dub slide by slide. I need dub through several slides. Is it possible to merge the slides so that I can dub once for the slides instead of saying some words in one slide and continue to say other words in the following slides?

Thanks.

Text to Speech has to be entered slide by slide.

However you can use Text to Speech to create a WAV audio file and then spread that voiceover through a number of slides.

Use TTS first to create all the audio on a single slide. Note the WAV file name in the Library.  Then use Audio > Record to Slides and specify the range of slides by number.  When the Slides/Audio dialog box opens, choose the TTS-created WAV file in your Library as the audio for the slides you specified.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking but you can generate audio for all slides at once.

If you click on the Audio drop down menu and select Speech Management...

...you will be presented with this window...

You can work on the audio for all your slides from here and the then Generate Audio to create your narration for all slides at once.

My point is, in a project, there are many slides. When I use the function 'text to speech' to dub for the slides, I hope I can merge the slides so they can in the same timeline. And thus I can say a complete sentence to go through the slides instead of splitting my sentence into several parts, for example:

I want to 'say': "This video introduces how to blablabla... " when the slide1-slide 4 are playing.

For now, I can only say : "This video introduces how to blablabla... " when the slide 1 is playing. The slides can't share the same 'words'

I don't believe you can do what you want exactly, you can try to create a project of one slide, with all the text and images. Using the timeline, you can make things appear and disappear as needed. I don't really recommend this option, but you could do it.
