Is it possible to import PowerPoint slides with quiz questions into Adobe Captivate and then convert them to quiz slides?

Lilybiri is correct. PowerPoint slides will never be anything but static or movie slides. Here is my tutorial on importing PowerPoint into Adobe Captivate. You may find it useful.

    Almost!

I was able to get a customized background to appear by editing the Slide Master, changing the background drop down to Project Background and importing an image. I did have to turn OFF the checkbox for "Show Main Master Slide Objects," as this was required to allow the image to show through.

This could allow for a common, but customized, graphic treatment across all the question slides.  I would need to edit each type, as there is a master slide for each type of quiz question.

Unfortunately, this falls short of your goal of importing PPT slides for each quiz question.

@BDuckWorks What you are describing is just editing the theme for a project, Master slides are one of the three parts of a theme. That is not at all an answer to the OP. Quiz slides imported from PPT willl never be functional as Quiz slides. All slides converted from PPT use the Blank master slide, and are converted to pure passive movie slides. No way to have scores nor reporting.

Nope... maybe you need a PPT plug-in instead of Captivate?
