Question

ppt slides with video

hi,
I have publishing problems: 54 ppt slides associated with flv files,
altogether ca. 140 mb, will produce a http error saying that there is
not enough memory to complete this task or another message: couldn't map
file names. I managed to upload the presentation only after renaming the
.flv files and reattach them to the slides. But it is still not safe.
After making some minor changes on the presenation I got the same error.
Is there a limit for uploading slides with video files? Is there
anything that can be done? I get the impression that the Breeze server
has problems reading the video folder, because the error appears when
the server is still reviewing the files. Once it starts uploading there
is no problem any more.

Kathrin

hi,
I read about the 100 mb limit, but I thought it referred only to the ppt
presentation itself. I took away 20 slides from the 54 slides and this
worked out fine. Whole size of the presentation as indicated on the
server about 109, this is close to the limit.
I tried another way of uploading: I exported locally as a .zip file,
started the upload from the breeze manager and it worked. I uploades a
presentation with ca. 170 mb.

I don't know the full answer to your problem but I do know there is a 100 MB limit to what you can publish to the server. Try a test with a small number of slides to see if it works.
