Question

Preparing various prior-to-save functions

I am trying to save a new Captivate 5 program.  I imported some PowerPoint slides and I haven't used my Captivate 5 program for about 3 months.  I imported the slides, tried to save and got a popup window that said, "Preparing various prior-to-save functions" and then the program gets hung up.  The file doesn't do anything, the percentage never gets above 0 and I have to close the program.

I tried opening and saving old presentations and that worked.  Any thoughts?  I didn't find anything on Google.

I am having the same problem. After I record a simulation and click save, the program gets stuck on "preparing various prior-to-save functions." I waited for about 30 minutes and then finally had to end the program and lose everything I recorded. It doesn't happen all the time, but this is the third time in a week it has happened. Hoping someone has a solution.

Are you by any chance working on files that are stored on a corporate network LAN?

Yes, I believe I am on a LAN.
