Presenter 11 SCORM 4.edition

It seems I can't choose 4.edition (of SCORM 2004) for my Presenter 11 project. Our LMS gives a warning when we try to upload the 3.edition version.

Is 4.edition not available in Presenter 11(when will it be?) or do I do something wrong?

Very few LMSs support SCORM 2004 3rd edition.  Even fewer would support version 4.

Quite frankly, unless you are at a level where you are trying to use sophisticated sequencing rules in multiple SCORM courses I don't really think there's much point trying to use SCORM 2004 if your LMS doesn't seem to support it anyway.

For most course tracking situations SCORM 1.2 is quite adequate and is the one SCORM version all LMSs will try to support.

Thank you for quick reply. I am not sure who decided I have to use 2004 4.edition. But when I publish from Captivate we can upload to our LMS without warnings. We upload to iContent, our LMS is SuccessFactor. What do you mean by sophisticated sequencing?

There's lots more technical information on the SCORM.com website.

Unless you are trying to use the more advanced features that were introduced with SCORM 2004 in most cases just using SCORM 1.2 is enough.
