Presenter will not activate, not connected error.

I have successfully installed presenter 11, when I try to use I am prompted to log in and activate the software, then it tells me I am not connected. I have attempted to activate on 4 separate non-firewalled networks and am still receiving not connected errors. Is there a way to do an offline activation? I thought that this was supposed to be available in the installer, but it does not show up.
