Question

Pressing replay clips the shapes used on my slide

Hello,

I have developed a slide that uses a number of smartshapes in the design.

The slide also features a replay button that I developed in Advanced Actions using the cpCmndGotoFrameAndResume with v_startframe.

The issue here is that when the slide replays, the smartshapes are clipped.

Here's a before and after image.AS you can see, it also keeps clipping if you keep pressing the replay button.

Such an odd behavior, anyone seen it before?

Thanks.

R.

    I recognize that action

Which version do you use? Can I see a screenshot of the Timeline? Did you test in Preview, and if yes, which Preview? Or did you test in Browser?

Did you check the value of v_startframe, to see if it is correctly filled, by inserting it in a text container on the slide?

    Thanks, Lilybiri.

I am going to try this today. I'll let you know.

    I'm using version 8.

Here's the timeline screenshot with the smart shape in question highlighted.

The behavior is exhibiting in HTML5 in Firefox and IE - both published and preview.

Just for your info, the cut off is happening if the slide appears in the play back.

What I mean is, if i play a slide and two out of three smart shapes appear, and then replay the slide, it;s only the two smart shapes that appeared previously that are affected. The third smart shape is not affected. But if I replay the slides at that stage, all three are then affected.
