Pretest Questions Captivate 8

Hello,

I am using Adobe Captivate 8 and I added a 3 pretest question.  After I edited the first question and made my multiple choice questions I went to the second pretest question and the Question from prestest #1 appears on pretest #2 and #3.  Why is it duplicating my original question on all the other pretest?  I have no idea how to get rid of it on pretest #2 and #3.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Correct answer Lilybiri

I followed your instructions and created a new project with a blank theme and added 3 Pretest Questions and still the same results.

So weird. Next try: Clear Preferences. Close Project, find the file CleanPreferences that is fitting for your system in the subfolder 'Utils' of the captivate installation folder and run it. Then restart Captivate. Do you run it as Administrator (if you are on Windows)?

Really? First time this problem appear here.  Did you try to delete that strange first Pretest question and recreate it? I have no idea what is happening. The embedded objects on question slides are special, and they cannot even be timed, they cannot be set to display for the rest of the project. I would also clear the cache and check if you have the latest version of 8 which is 8.0.3.

    Hello Lilybiri,

Yes, I am using Adobe Captivate 8.0.3  and I have cleared the cache still no change.  Whatever question I put it will appear on every question after that.  When I went to preview the Adobe Captivate file and get to the pretest questions I do not see any of the questions just the answers.  Could it be anything with the Master slides?

That would have been my next question: which theme do you use? Is it one of the themes included with CP8?
