How do I prevent the LMS (Meridian) from being able to retake the quiz once it's completed?

Unfortunately, that's totally an LMS question.

Well, with some fancy scripting, you may be able to have Captivate 'skip' the Quiz if it can pull in the completion_Status from the LMS...

But it's not a native function of Captivate.

Typically, that's an LMS control - allowing users to retake the quiz or not, for credit or not, in review mode only, etc...

Is there a way to prevent captivate from launching period once it's complete?  So that once the user completes the course they can no longer even launch it again?

Well...the launching of the course is also the domain/control of the LMS.

BUT, you could setup your Captivate project so...when the user gets to the end, all the navigation buttons disappear.

So when they relaunch it, assuming it's set to 'resume' (and your LMS doesn't override that), it'll always relaunch to that last page...that has no navigation, so the user can't go anywhere else in the lesson...
