Preview from this slide not showing

When I updated to a version 11.8.2.254. I lost the preview from this slide option.  Does anyone know how to resolve this.

    As Rod points out, the difference between 11.8.2 and previous versions is that some SWF-related workflows were taken out: all Preview methods except Preview in Browser (Preview Project is exactly the same), Learning Interactions (althought they were funtional for HTML output), Slide Transitions (although they do work in video publishing), publishing options. Like you I regret that the different Preview options which are available in responsive projects, using the localhost, were not implemented for non-responsive projects. 

    My workaround is to activate the TOC temporarily, with full navigation possibility. You will still have to wait for the complete project to be rendered, but at least you'll be able to navigate more easily to slides you want to edit.

    That particular option was actually using a Flash component.  All Flash/SWF objects were removed from Captivate 2019 with the update 8.  So, there is no resolution to this unless you uninstall 11.8 and reinstall an earlier version of Captivate 2019.
