Previous slide hangs, but audio of next slide plays in preview

Hi,

I've run into a weird issue in Captivate.

Basically, I'll preview say, slide 14 for example. Then I'll click on slide 15 to preview it, but it will display slide 14 and play the audio narrative of slide 15. It's very odd.

I've tried saving and closing, then re-opening to no effect.

Has anyone else witnessed this?

    Hi Lily,

    For the sake of time, I went ahead and deleted the slide and re-recorded it (since I'm on deadlines to produce content).

    But basically, I tried previewing it by clicking on the slide and pressing the space bar. I also previewed the entire project and even published the project with the same results. I tried copying and pasting the project into a new project. I tried copying the slide, deleting it, then re-copying it back to its correct place. Nothing worked unfortunately.

    I'm not sure why it occurred. It was truly bizarre. Was curious if you ever ran into anything like that.

    Spacebar is Playing the slide, but that is NOT a real preview. It is only meant for synchronizing but will never show the file as it will be when published. You can need one of the other Preview methods. It is now even clearly labeled 'Play Slide', not 'Preview Slide', something I have been pleading about but still...
