Print Certificate widget to file Cap4?

What filename/type do I use for printing the Certificate Widget (AS2) in Captivate 4? My students need to print to file and then email to supervisor.

I know how to insert and use the certificate. I just can't get "Print to file" to work. As a matter of fact, I can't get the Print widget to work either. I can print to my printer, but not print to file. All I need to know is what file type it wants to create so I can name it appropriately and open it with the proper tool.

I don’t think there is anything which you need to do specifically to make it wrk for a file. For instance if you have Pdf installed you can print to pdf using this widget. Are you using Print widget for AS2 and Print_AS3 for AS3??

Cap4, so AS2. During the preview, I click on the certificate page Print button, select "save to file" from my print popup. A new popup comes up and prompts for a file name. I tried no extension as well as .pdf, .doc., .jpg, .bmp. Then I tried to open the file with the proper tools and all say the file is not readable.

There has got to be just one silly thing that I'm missing here. Please try it and tell me if it works for you.

Hi,

1.Launch Captivate.

2.Go to Window->Widget.

3.Search for Certificate widget.

4.Insert the certificate widget on the slide after the quiz slides.

5.On the first slide insert a TEB.

6.Follow the instructions written on the Widget->Parameters.

Let me knw if this works.
