Printing Handouts

HI Everyone, I have started using Captivate 9 and so far I like it, but my client has asked me to create a send him the project in a print form so he can go through and do some edits/rearrangements.  I went to File>Pring and selected handouts, but the result is terrible.  Images are missing or in the wrong place.  Buttons are the wrong color.  Does anyone know how to get a print version?  Word, pdf or ppt?

Thanks

What settings did you select for the Handouts?  Please show a screenshot so that we can see what you have selected

If you have images or objects on the slides set to NOT display on the timeline, then these objects will not be visible in the handout.   If you have motion effects added to objects then only the starting position of the object may be showing.

I'm not sure why buttons would appear the 'wrong colour'.  I have not seen that particular issue.  Could be a colour printer problem.

    Hi Rod,

Thanks for the reply.  I'm attaching three images.  The print screen I used, a screenshot of the slide and an image of how it was exported to word.  The wierd part is that when I went back again and went to file>print to repeat the process without changing anything except the file name, it printed just fine.  That is bizzare and I'd love to have some insight into what could cause these types of issues so that when I run into them again I'll have a better understanding.

Did you use a PPT deck to initiate this project or did you build it from scratch in Captivate?

It's looking to me like it might have started out as a PPT with some animation on certain slides and that would explain your issues with positioning and images or objects not appearing on the printout.
