The output to word is a great tool in Captivate 3. You can print step by step reference guid, handouts (which is basically a capture of each slide) and a storyboard. If you have a project with quizzes involved you can output a Lesson with includes you questions and an answer key.

It is a very versatile tool that has several options to give you what you are looking for.
