Printing to Word as handouts and making changes

If I print my CP8 project to Word and make changes to the slide notes, do those changes translate to my .cptx file? Or would I need to go back into my .cptx file and make the changes to the slide notes?

Nope.  The MS Word output ceases to be linked to the CPTX.  You need to make the changes in the CPTX slide notes area.
