Problem copying and pasting demo slides

I am working on placing multiple software demonstration slides into one project in Captivate 9 (they were also recorded in Captivate 9).  When I copy and paste the slides they are changing in the new blank project.  The mouse does not take the same path and the captions are also slightly off.  Some of the slides even skew the background.  Why is this happening?  Is there any way to correct this??
