Problem with Android Internet browser

Hi all

I've published a quiz module in Captive 6 (with Flash and HTML5 turned on) and finding problems when testing on an Android tablet:

Using the Chrome browser everything is fine but with the default Android Internet browser the content fails to appear.

Can anyone give me a hint about what might be going on here?

BTW - this is via Moodle

Regards and thanks

Simon

    Hi Simon,

Android as a platform has not yet been tested with Captivate 6/6.1

Anyways, you can state exactly what happens when you play it on the tablet, I will try to give you a workaround (if possible)

    Thanks.

    Hi Anjaneai

    Thanks for the prompt reply

The module is a quiz created with Captivate 6 - published as both SWF and HTML5 (with Scaleable HTML Content = on).

After uploading into Moodle the module works fine on a PC and on iPad. But when using my Samsung tablet it only appears when using the Chrome browser. With the default Android 'Internet' browser there is simply nothing to see

    Hi,

    Actually the recommended browsers are

    • Internet Explorer 9 or later
    • Safari 5.1 or later
    • Google Chrome 17 or later

Can you set your Chrome to be a default browser.

    Thanks,

    Anjaneai
