Problem with Game Show Asset in Cap 9

Downloaded Game Show asset and started a game.  Made changes in 2 questions.  Saved and 1st preview is perfect.  Subsequent previews with no changes do not go past second slide.

I have tried 2 more downloads and encounter the same problem.  Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks,  Henry

    Hi Henry,

Can you elaborate as to what changes you have made in the questions? Or better, if you could send the changed project to us it would help us investigate further as to what is going wrong.

You can upload the project to a shared location and email the link to mdas@adobe.com

    Thanks,
    Mohana

Thanks for the response.  I tried Game Show and Category games and mad changes to the welcome page and the first two questions.  I saved and ran a preview.  For both of the games the first preview ran perfectly.  Subsequent trials would not go past the welcome page which showed the change I made.

After going to the Elearning Brothers blog it appears it may be a problem with the difference between Cap 8 (which the assets were created for) and Cap 9. I haven't tried the quick fix they suggest.  I may just wait as I feel sure they will address it.

If you're referring to the quick fix in this post (http://elearningbrothers.com/upgrading-files-made-captivate-8-captivate-9/‌), then you'll want to follow those steps pretty soon. Otherwise, you're going to run into problems any time you find Captivate 8 templates that you want to use in Captivate 9 (whether from eLearning Brothers or otherwise). The fix described in that blog actually comes down from Adobe to help remedy an issue that was found early on after Cap9's release. Just read and follow the instructions carefully and you should hopefully be able to move past the issue!
