Problem with objects/effects not appearing after publishing

I am having a similar problem right now so I don't know if I should start a new topic. I am publishing my project to html or previewing in html, and I have objects that are supposed to fade in. One object fades in not all the way, and two other shapes (with text) don't even show up at all. I have a click-box to pause the project until the user clicks. When I hit play in the playbar, the same slide plays (without audio which played the first time through) and the objects fade in at the time they're supposed to. How do I fix this? Sorry if I'm not explaining this well, I'm so confused.

So I unpaused the Help button and now the objects appear as supposed to in the HTML preview.

Be careful with pausing points on shape buttons timed for the rest of the project as you just learned. If you want each slide to pause at its end (as you did with the click box), put a shape button on the main master slide, and activate pausing (is the default setup). It will always pause at the last frame of each slide, whatever its duration.

This is a totally different subject, you are bumping probably on what I call the first stumbling block: Timeline understanding.

Can you please post a screenshot of the timeline, but I would prefer to branch this thread to a new discussion, because the problem has nothing to do with Effects not being Flash-based (they never were).

You probably have a pausing point too early, which is preventing staggered objects from appearing, and effects to complete. Have a look at this interactive movie:

Okay thank you so much. I am going to read the blog posts you provided and will reply if any solutions I get from there works. Here is a screenshot of the timeline:

SmartShape_136 and SmartShape_6 aren't appearing at all. And Image_1 is what is not fading in all the way. I have a Fade In applied to all three for 0.5 seconds.

There is no pausing point visible in the beginning of that slide. Can you check the actiion set On Enter for the slide? So you perhaps have a shape button timed for the rest of the project in one of the previous slides?

How did you test? If this is a non-responsive project, and you want to preview HTML output, the only Preview method that creates a temporary HTML outpu is F11: Preview HTML in Browser.

You didn't mention the version, nor the OS you are using. Can you do thet, please?
