Problems after resizing

Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help.  I resized a number of projects to provide a column down the left for text captions, logo, etc.  Now it seems a lot of things don't work right.  Unless a call-out text caption is synched with the playhead, it doesn't show up in preview.  The same thing seems to happen with some other objects.

I really, really don't want to recapture everything in the new project size, even though I can copy all the elements from old to new.

Does anybody have any experience/ideas on this?

(Captivate 3)

Thanks!

Marion

I cannt offer any help or much to cheer you up, other than to say I have had no end of similar problems with resizing. Seems that each time you resize, not only does it knock some of the objects and text boxes out of whack - so you have to re-do or adjust them but any screen shots or images start to become blurred and their quality generally gets worse and worse each time you resize.

    Thanks, Noel.

Actually, when I resize, I don't have the problem of the graphic distoring when it's resized, fortunately.  The purpose of the resize is to leave the screenshot the same, but add a border for instructional text.

I think I've found the source of the problem.  I had added little text boxes to create a blinking cursor in the screenshot, and it seems that the text boxes, even with all the options turned off, somehow blocked other elements from starting or behaving correctly.

    Thanks for the feedback!
