Problems opening CP files

I am unable to open the Captivate 4 project files (CP files) that I am working on by clicking directly on the file.  Windows Vista is trying to open them as a Captivate FlashPlayer file, I get an error message, and the file disappears.  I can open the file by going through the Captivate 4 program but not by clicking directly on the file in the folder.  I tried to change the file association under Default Programs but it does not recognize Adobe Captivate as the program to use (it will only allow me to chose Flash Player or Adobe Reader.  I had previously used a trial version of Captivate and it worked.  Now that I have purchased the software, it doesn't work.  What can I do?

    Hello,

    I know that many people are acting that way, but not only CP but quite a lot of programs seem to work better if you first open the program. You have to be sure that you run Captivate as an Administrator, which could be one of the reasons.
