Problems publishing without a score - CP6

We publish to a number of different LMSs, and although our courses have quizzes, we would like one configuration to show just the completion rate (number of slides), and not the score.  In CP 5.5, this was easy to do, but in CP6, it seems to send the score to the LMS every time.  And if it comes from Captivate, the LSM displays it.

We repurpose our content several different ways, so we don't want to disable the scores on the click boxes - just not report it to the LMS.  We've talked to the LMS providers, and had various kinds of advice, but no solutions yet.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Marion

Hi Marion,

If you do not want the Interactiv Objects score not to be reported, say for Click box, you can do that by going to its properties-- scroll to bottom -- Reporting, uncehck the option "Include in Quiz" and republish. Repeat it for all interactions.

If you just want to omit the score from Quiz result, Select Quiz result slide and from Quiz propertiesuncheck the options that you do not want to display to your users.

Thanks,

Thanks, Anjaneai,

As I said above,  we wanted to avoid disabling the scoring on the click boxes, because there are hundreds of files involved, each with many click boxes and we re-purpose the content in a number of ways.  However, in the last few days, I've decided that this is our only choice.

Early on, it didn't matter, because the LMS could control whether or not to display the scores.  Now, with other LMSs involved, we had to find a way.

Marion,

Would add to the suggestion of Anjaneai: please open the Advanced Interaction view. It is still not editable (have entered a feature request already several times), but at least it is linked dynamically to the Properties panel, you can select each click box in turn and then use the PI to uncheck reporting.

BTW the option to send the data at the end is still available in CP6, choose the template 'SendTrackingDataAtEnd' in the Quiz, Preferences, Reporting
