Problems with cutting screencast video

Hi,

I'm using Adobe Captivate for two month mainly for screencast Videos. If I cut out a small part (where I have to hawk or something else) it can happen, that the video-part is cut out but the audio part is still there. When I play the video, I have then a double Audio (overlayed).

I think Captivate is very poor for cutting the screencasts. I'm using also Premiere Elements where cutting is very easy. But, for quality reasons, I don't want to export the screencast from Captivate and Import it to Premiere Elements. I think two time compression isn't well for the quality....

Has anyone an idea for this overlayed Audio??

Regards Thomas

Hi,

1. I'm using Captivate 9 (abo)

2. The issue is to see/hear in the preview when I'm editing the project and also after export. I'm using Youtube Widescreen as Export format.

3. Yes. I'm doing video full screen.

Hi Thomas,

We couldn't reproduce the issue from our end. If possible could you send the project which is showing the issue so that we can investigate on our end?

You can upload it to a shared location (eg Dropbox) and share the link at murugath@adobe.com

Thanks,

Rahinie
