When I try to record an audio track in captivate, it say's there is no microphone device connected.  How do I configure the program to see the microphone?

Is your mic working in other applications? What version of captivate are you using?

Yes, my mic is working in Soundbooth just fine.  The main feature of captivate I am most interested in is capturing an onscreen demo with voice over as i am an eLearning designer, and find it frustrating that when I select 'naration' it is checked 'No naration' and when you go to configure settings, the selection of microphone is 'custom' and you have no facility to select a microphone.  In other words, by default, the program considers you have no microphone connected.

I am using Windows 7 and your trial version of Captivate 5, and am ready to purchase the eLearning suite but I am stuck at this problem.  I am also 17 day's into the trial with little success in using it other than I think it has tremendous potential and would buy if this were fixed.
