Progress Bar per slide

I have a course with 15 pages that my client wants the progress bar per slide and not the whole course. Is this possible we are working in Captivate 8 and have to export HTML5 only. I've searched around but haven't found a clear answer.

I just finished creating one of these today.

It is a custom play bar and the visited portion of the progress bar is clickable.

We can also do this with all of Captivates native play bars. It also controls the enabling of the next and back buttons along with removing the slider functions.

We can also show a caption/image at any specific time before the slide ends

I always find this a strange request because it mostly means that slides are way too long, contrary to what is meant by the typical Captivate design. There is not such a progress bar out of the box, you'll have to create it, sorry. What I find strange is that there is normally a big difference between the 'editor's' duration and the time really spent by the user in a course. Which one do you want to show? Which one is most relevant to the user?

My course is dictated by voiceover so we want the user to see a scrubber bar that represents the length of each slide. I do not think there is a difference between the 'editors' duration and the time spent by the user. At then end of each page we have the slide stop and promote the user to click a button to move forward. The scrubber bar for us is just a visual aid for the user to know how long each slide is.

The usual reason for this request is that the client is more familiar with other authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline where the player scrubber bar DOES apply only to that slide and not the entire course.

Dave's solution sounds interesting.
