Question

Project (captivate 2017) works great in preview, but does not when published

Hi everyone,

I've made a project with the trial version Captivate 2017 (OS X, 10.9.5) , when I preview it in the browser, all work very well, but when I publish it, all smartshapes buttons (which have multiple states) work bad, the active area does not cover the entire button, just the lower edge. It's unusable

I tried to delete the states of one button to see the impact, it does not change anything, still not working.

(The image buttons work well)

Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes I did and it's the same result.

I did see that problem mentioned by another user, was not able to reproduce the problem but could be due to several hotfixes installed on my system for CP2017. Which OS are you using? How did you create the shape buttons, maybe post a screenshot of the Object State panel?

Thanks for your help

Here the project published on a webserver :

http://edu-guides.mnhn.fr/chgt_bio/index.html

The problem concerns, for example, the button 'entrer" on first screen

or the button "retour au menu" and the directional arrows which are present on every screen (except the screen menu)

My OS is OS X 10.9.5 : maybe I should try tu update my OS to High Sierra

and install this hotfix : https://elearning.adobe.com/2018/02/captivate-2017-html5-previewpublish-broken-in-os-x-high-sierra-10-13-or-higher/

Did you upload the published project to a webserver, if it was published to HTML5?
