Project Preview is not showing edits made after audio was added

I am working on a project on Captivate 9, and after I added audio to the slide and editing changes I make to the contents of the slide do not show up in the project preview. I am trying to get some of the text to come up at different times so that it lines up with the audio. I have made the necessary changes on the timeline. If I preview the slide within captivate it works, but when I select the project preview the areas that had text are no blank. If I remove the audio the text will come up when where I set it along the timeline, but if I add in the audio it will not capture any changes. I am not sure what to do and I have been trying to figure out what is going on. This is only happening with one of my slides. Thanks!
