I have a "continue button" on my page who stops the project after 2,0 seconds. When I klick on the botton the next page shows up thats fine. But when the project is on pause after 2 seconds and I'm clicking anywhere on the page, the project continues. How can I stop the project to continiue when im clicking anywhere?

Thank you 🙂

"Really, you should read that sequence of articles I wrote about the Timeline." This is a great article and I have already read the article in the past. :-)

"Problem is with the slide audio, which is paused by your Pause command. To have it continue playing, you would need the Continue command and that is the problem."  I know that this is the problem, I just thought there is a way to solve it.

There may be a way but I'm very busy at this moment, wished I could spend all day exploring and writing articles... for free.

Would need more details about the Properties of that 'button', but can you check the number of attempts? If it is set to 1, you also have a Failure event, and should use the command 'No action' for that event, instead of the default 'Continue'.

If you have Infinite attempts, a screenshot of the Timeline could help as well. Maybe have a look at this article (one in a sequence of 5):

Thanks for your answer. The button has unlimited attempts. I Have a screenshot in my other answer in this post :-)

You have three more interactive objects on that slide, how are they set up? The smart shapes with a green timeline are all interactive.

BTW German is not a problem for me (one of Belgian national languages), but in English you write 'click', not 'klick'.

Set up those interactive objects on the slide so that they will not continue the timeline.

In some cases there will be an option checkbox for Continue Playing Project which you can deselect.  In other cases your best option is to use the click to trigger an Advanced Action with your desired action because Advanced Actions don't have a built-in Continue function like a lot of the normal single actions do.

Sorry for the German language at the screenshot. Here you can see my two button. Left Button (Zurück) = Jump to the previous page and the right button (weiter) = jump tp the next page. You can see on the screenshot that both buttons stop the project at 12,5s. Both buttons are working and I hav no problem with them.

My problem is, when I klick somewhere on this page after the project is on pause (after 12,5s) the timline continiues, so after another second (zhe page is 13,5s long) the project jumps to the next page without klicking the continiue button.

I hope the english is understandable :-)
