in captivate 4 it was C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\My Adobe Captivate Projects\Templates\ProjectTemplates

but i have no such folder now.

1. can anyone tell me where it's located?

2. and also where is the design template folder located? ( a search in my computer did not give results)

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Which version do you use now? Design templates were only available in version 4. Design in later versions is controlled by the Object Style Manager, not by a Design template.

You can store custom templates wherever you want, putting it in a specific folder is not required (and doubt this was really the case even in version 4). If you are on version 6, Themes now replace templates for a big part: a theme can have custom master slides, custom Skin editor, custom Object Styles etc.

I'm using version 5.5

in the past we used version 4 and had a template with cptl.

there was a folder project templates in:

My Adobe Captivate Projects\Templates\ProjectTemplates

where all the templates were located, and now i can't find it.

How am i supposed to use our organization template in version 5.5?

and how do i create a new one to pass to other computers that will include project size, captions styles etc.. ?

You can create your own folder wherever you want. And just send the template to those that need it. I have offered templates on my blog.
