Question

Publish one SWF per slide (CP4, AS3)

I need to be able to publish a Captivate 4 project (ActionScript 3) as a single SWF per slide in the project.  Right now, Captivate will automatically create one SWF when publishing.  Interestingly, it will create individual SWFs if I publish using AS2.  Unfortunately, we need to include these published SWFs in a separate SWF that requires AS3.  Any ideas on how to go about this?

I know I could import each slide separately as a project and publish that way, but that's an incredibly laborious process that I'd like to avoid.  I'm surprised there's seemingly no option out of the box in order to facilitate reuse of published slides in something like an LMS...  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Terence,

Unfortunately you need to publish each slide separately. You can do it from your original Captivate file though. Simply Hide all irrelevant slides - publish - and repeat the process. If you use the Storyboard view it's pretty quick to hide and unhide slides but it's still a long and boring process.

Thanks for the tip Michael!  That's not nearly as painful as the method I described.  I'll give it a shot.
