Publish Progress (Not Responding)

I have been working with a new captivate video with slides and demo only. When we publish it will go through about 28% and Captivate stalls. It shuts down or crashes. After several attempts (I am on version 7) it goes to 42%. We tested it by removing some of the demos and it would publish but some of the other videos would be blank in preview. My question is how can we determine if 1 or more of the videos are currupt? 

Below are my notes (4 1 hour video demos each) total course is 3 hours. 

Delete video 1 published, but wouldn't play video 3

Deleted video 3 publishing stopped at 69%

Deleted 1&3 and now video 4 will not play

    You are using a Classic Captivate version, but which one? You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

    How big is the file size of the output? You can check it in the Project Info Panel which you open from the Window menu by clicking the Check button next to HTML :

    I suspect the problem is linked with the file size, if you embedded the videos as event video? I would try to stream them as slide video. You could use YT or Vimeo if you don't have access to a streaming service. Of course learner will have to wait on each slide with a video to upload but it could solve your problem.

    We are using 11.8.1.219, the total project is 500,000 KBs. We use the video demo to screen record our lessons. After I just let it buffer I was able to finally get it published. It took around 3 hours for it to publish in it's entirety. I think next time we will shorten our demos to small videos instead of 1-1 1/2 hour demos. Thanks for you response.

    I also have used Video Demo a lot but never videos of that size because I don't think learners like that especially if they are not interactive videos. Indeed, splitting them up in smaller chunks is a much better idea. But even then I would recommend the streaming workflow.
