Question

Publish to MP4 with added Video

I have a project that has a number of imported MP4s added as single slide event videos.

If I publish to .exe or swf, everything seems to play fine.

If I publish to MP4, the output file size is tiny relative to what it should be and the videos do not play properly - they are extremely choppy. I need to publish to MP4 as we use Vimeo as our streaming service.

Is there some trick to get this working?

Running Captivate 6 as Administrator on W8.1.

I've tried it in both 64bit and 32bit.

Thanks

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Adobe Captivate 6 is not tested and certified for Windows 8.1.

You may download a trial of Adobe Captivate 7 and then install CP 7.0.1 update.

Once you have CP7.0.1, you may upgrade your project and then publish it with CP 7.0.1

Once you are sure with your published MP4, then you may think about upgrading to Adobe Captivate 7

Thanks,

Vikram
