Publish without javascript?

Our primary publishing protocol does not support javascript (and we're on IE6).  Right now, we edit the html after publishing, but most of the developers are not well-versed in HTML so troubleshooting is far harder.

Is there a way to publish to html/swf, without using javascript?

    Hi there

Assuming you have developed an HTML page that works to present the Captivate movie sans JavaScript, you could amend the "seed" file used by Captivate so that it wouldn't have the JavaScript dependency. Then when you publish things should already be in place.

Sorry, but my crystal ball has gone missing and my psychic skills are rusty. Therefore I am unable to ascertain what version of Captivate you are using. So I can't really tell you where to look for the seed files.

If it helps, I'm using a Windows 7 64 bit system with Captivate 5. My seed files appear to be in this location:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5\Templates

So perhaps you can use that as a guide and determine where they may be found on your own system.

    Cheers... Rick
