Published Captivate 7 file opens a Word document

When I publish my file in captivate 7 everything looks fine and it tells me that it published successfully. However, when I attempt to view the published file a blank Word document opens instead of the published file????? Help

Hello,

Can you tell me the output which you have seleted to publish ?

If you have published as a .zip file then make sure that you extract the folder before opening the published file.

One of our DI´s here it´s having this problem too, when hits F11 to run the content in browser it opens inside the word the index.html.

The html extension inside windows is set to be open in Chrome, odd!

Which publishing settings did you choose on the Publish dialog?

This same thing happened to me. Go to File > Publish > Media > Select type: MP4 Video. Also, I found that File > Publish > SWF/HTML5 > Output Format Options: HTML5 gave me better output.
