Published Captivates (2019) as .exe

Up until January we published our Captivates as .exe files for our clients to review.  Now that that option has been taken away, can anyone recommend a different way to send clients a sample (interactive with quizzes usually) product to review for approval?

The best way is to upload the published HTML5 folder to a webserver or a LMS. Send the URL to the client.

I was afraid you were going to say that.  Our LMS is pretty locked down so that is out.  I suppose we will have to invest in a webserver.  Too bad.  Executables were perfect for review.

I know, so were interactive pdfs.  You have to blame the fruit company who started banning Flash player (which they didn't control).

A webserver can be set up very easily even on an older system. It is also possible, within limitations, to upload to SCORM Cloud  and invite people to access the file. That would allow to test a SCO which was not even possible with exe (but was with interactive pdf).
