published or previewed file will not load and play in browser - Captivate 9

I am trying to play my project in Firefox browser. it will open, but then never loads. this is both for preview and published project. I had never had issues with this in captivate 8.

Does something like google drive work? I sent the link hopefully that works if not could you please let me know a better location to upload it to?

Hi Andrew,

I have received your file. Your first two slides have a button with an "Open URL or file" action associated. Due to this your preview launches directly from C: drive and does not load on Firefox.

Can you try using Javascript to open the file instead of the Open URL action? You can do this using the "Execute Javascript" action. In the script window type in: window.open(<URL>);

Also, it looks like the issue is in preview. Can you try publishing your project and check?

Okay to add to this i did some trouble shooting this morning.

I started from scratch on a project and when i began the preview would open and play.

so i added my slides i wanted and set them up with some basic effects and a background a few character guys and at least one button per slide for navigation. 31 total slides about 10secs a piece... preview will open and play.

So i continued and i named my slides and linked my buttons with jump to slide actions moving from slide to slide through the project. Preview would not load!!!

so that is the information i can give you..... any help would be awesome
