Publishing a Captivate Project with HTML scaling effecting skin

Good afternoon,

I'm creating training modules and ran into a skin issue today. When I publish in HTML scaling my Closed Caption button in the skin vanished with the skin. I have branch awareness on which takes away most of my buttons but CC always stayed until I did the HTML scaling. It's a non responsive project with a pretest before a optional or mandatory video. You take the test and if you pass you get credit but if you fail you have to watch the video. I also built in an option to skip the quiz and watch the video for credit as well. Before figuring out the scaling issue I had no problem with my remaining buttons in the skin but since I've begun scaling them I don't see that option and closed captions are mandatory for these modules. Has anyone ran in to this before and been able to recover the skin or do I need to make a new button?

I'm using Captivate 19 on a MacBook with about 6 months of experience.

    Oh... that was not clear.  I mostly hide the playbar on Quiz slides, because it can cause issues. However if you need the CC button on quiz slides, you cannot do that.

    Could you please give the full version number as you find under Help, About Captivate? There have been many releases under the common label CP2019. Which version of iOS?

    Both Branch awarenessand Pretest will disable navigation buttons. There is however no reason why the CC button would disappear, nor why this happens only when publishing to scalable HTML.Which Theme did you use and did you use the default Skin from that theme or did you edit the playbar?

    Are you sure about the test being a Pretest? Because the score of a Pretest is not reported to a LMS, it only allows you to have an action based on the result of the Pretest. Can you show a screenshot of that action?

    It's Captivate 2019 11.8.0.710 running on macOS Big Sur Version 11.6.5

     

    I used a blank project to make my module and the default skin. I'm not sure if my test is a true pre-test, Its setup to have 10 questions (from a question pool) and then I have a "buffer" slide I use with advanced actions that if the user passes the quiz they will be directed to the results page and if they fail they get directed to the video and I added a button at the end with a point value so they'll have enough to pass and recieve credit for the training. What action do you need for the screen shot?

    UPDATE: I exported a different version of the same module without the HTML scaling and I lost the CC's in the skin as soon as the video slide started playing.
