What is the easiest most intuitve way to publish my course?

Should I use Adobe Connect?

What other options would you recommend for a seamless user experience?

I use Connect of synchronous online coaching/training. In such a situation being able to upload an interactive Captivate tutorial is a blessing. Same for online assessment if it happens live, either for one or a group of trainees. It is much more than a webconference tool, because it has a lot more functionality than other tools (Zoom, Teams, GotoMeeting, Webex...).

It is possible to capture a Connect session and provide access to your trainees directly (in Connect) or by sending them the captured video. A video is non-interactive, but being able to review the session (including the chat, Q&A panels etc) will be appreciated.

However I often will upload the tutorials to a webserver, because it will retain the interactivity. At that moment it can be accessed asynchronous. If you need to track the participants, manage the access to courses, their progress etc. a LMS is the best way. Rod Ward pointed out that possibility. I just pop in to clarify my use of Connect in the learning process.

    Okay, this makes sense.

What web server/LMS do you upload the course to?

There are literally hundreds of LMS. Deciding on which LMS is right for you or your organization takes careful thought and perhaps many questions of all those who will be required to use it. Since it often represents a significant investment for your organization I would do some research on this question. Here is a resource that might be able to help you decide.

Adobe Connect is used for web conferencing, that is, where you want to deliver content to a group of users that will all be online and watching the content at more or less the same time.

This is know as synchronous delivery and it is mainly used for virtual meetings and webinars.

However, most Captivate developers would be wanting to use a Learning Management (e.g. something like Adobe Captivate Prime LMS) which allows content to be loaded onto a system for end users to consume the content at any time (asynchronous delivery).  LMSs also provide a better way for management to track whether or not learners have achieved competency, i.e. actually learned something, from consuming the content.

So, in your case, which of these two modalities seems to be closest to what you are trying to achieve?
