Question

Publishing course on Mac OS crashes but not on Windows???

I have a course I developed using Captivate 6 on Mac.  Everytime I try to publish to SWF and HTML5, Captivate crashes just before the swf file is complete.  Captivate shuts down completely. The only way I can publish is using VMware and Captivate 6 via Windows on my mac.  The course publishes fine using the windows version of Mac.  It is quite a pain because I have had to load two versions of Captivate, then switch over to windows every time I want to publish the course.  It is strange that there is this difference between the mac and windows version.  Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi,

Does this happens to a specific project or all of them?

Can you chnage the Flash player version in Publish Options and check force republish all slides on MAC.

If it still crashes, copy all your slides to a new blank project of same resolution, and publish that one with above settings.

Please share us the results.

Thanks,

It happens with two specific projects. I will change the settings and give it a go. Thanks for your reply
