Publishing CP5 project to Connect Pro
I am publishing from CP5 to Connect Pro account using the "Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro" tab on the publish dialog. I managed to to point the publish location to my Connect Pro server account but I am encountering a few difficulties:
- The "Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Publish" dialog opens however, I receive several network connect errors. I click "OK" on the error and the process continues and allows me to login with my account credentials.
- I assume the upload process is occurring however there is no status of upload. I am letting it roll just in case it is actually working but just taking a very long time.
I am curious if others are seeing the network connect errors and the generally very slow performance even when only selecting the folders into which the file will be published. I don't have a slow connections but it is behaving as if I do. Also does anyone know if there is an upload status on the files that are loading?
I am wondering also if it is possible to upload the files using an FTP utility rather than the web interface? FTP would seem to make more sense given the size and number of Captivate published files that must be loaded.
Appreciate any input from those who have successfully used this feature.
