Hi,

I have imported a PPTX slideshow in captivate 9 and I would like publish a swf file including the animations of my slideshow.

I have tried to publish but the swf file is created without the animations from PPTX

Thanks for any suggestions

Carlo

    Thanks for your answer Rod,

But I dont understand why 6 months ago I could do it and not it is not possible anymore !

There is probably a change in the last updating of the software ?

Actually I just tested an animated PPT I created about 20 years ago and imported it into Captivate 9.

The animated slides were all converted into animated SWF backgrounds on each slide.  Nothing of the animation remains editable from the Captivate side (you'd have to round-trip edit it in PowerPoint), but at least the animations were still there.  So it doesn't look to me like the issue is with Captivate 9.

Try saving your PPTX as an older PPT file and then import it again.

That's normal behaviour when importing a PowerPoint deck into Captivate.  If you want animations to work in Captivate, don't start with a PPT.  Build from the ground up in Captivate objects.  PPT slides just end up as static backrounds.
