I have created a 10 question quiz in Captivate as part of a course. I am trying to publish it to Breeze, but i keep getting a server error: 500 Internal server error and then sometimes a server error: 500response id= Ahas no description.

Is there something i am doing wrong. I have the setting to report to an email since we do not have the Breeze LMS. I want the students to send the email. and i do not have the setting of enable breeze tracking set. Can anyone help me.

phatty5,

BTW: If you are truly publishing to the Breeze server AND you are launching
the content from the Breeze LMS - I would not expect the e-mail
functionality to work.

Regards,

Andrew

Hi phatty5

I'm a bit confused here. Your first paragraph as well as the thread subject line indicate you are having issues publishing to Breeze. Fair enough.

But the second paragraph says you do not have Breeze?

If you don't have Breeze, why are you trying to publish to Breeze?

Sincerely... Rick

We have Breeze presenter and meeting. Our company wants us to store our content up on the server so people can get to the session( the Breeze presenter session and captivate sessions). If i should not be doing this please let me know. Should we be placing the captivate courses on our website and not on the breeze server?

Hi again phatty5

I'd say it all depends on your intent with the Captivate movie. Either way, you are placing the Captivate content on a server for folks to access. Is your intent to provide the nifty interface Breeze provides? If so, then the Breeze server bit is just the way to go. However, note that you can still combine the two and have your content hosted on your own server!

I'm just guessing here, but given the fact you say: Our company wants us to store our content up on the server so people can get to the session you may just find that in the end, you simply have to comply with the wishes of those signing the checks. Now please know I didn't intend that as a snide remark. I meant to say that sometimes the decision is a bit out of our hands and control. All we can really do at times is to advise those in charge (armed with the best knowledge we have at the given moment) and allow them to choose. Of course, the more we know about our subject matter or realm of expertise, the more convincing we can be with our arguments!

So now that we have all that out of the way, let's get back to the questions posed in your initial post. How exactly are you trying to publish to Breeze? What are your exact steps? (I'm assuming you are still having the errors you reported)

And how does the "reporting to an email" factor into the mix?

Cheers... Rick
